Men's Wearhouse icon won't like the way he looks -- he's out!
Wed Jun 19, 2013
In reply to: common senseii 3400105 #5 Then I guess luckily for MW, they maintain the rights to his voice and likeness. The company can still use footage of him uttering that famous line. Why do people comment on articles for which they've read only the headline?
Second child files suit for lung transplant, gets on list
Thu Jun 6, 2013
So now organ transplants will go to whoever has enough money/time to file endless lawsuits or start up a publicity campaign for sympathy? Great.
Sunscreen year-round can slow aging, study finds
Mon Jun 3, 2013
"since I'm only outside during the daylight about 5-10 minutes in the morning and afternoon" That is sad on so many levels.
Undercover at Disney: 'Deplorable' scheme to skip lines
Fri May 31, 2013
Oh, I get it now. Amber gets to decide what constitutes "handicapped enough". Her special little snowflakes skip lines for their plight while others can go pound sand. Furthermore, who's being exploited in this instance? The people with the passes are being well-compensated for their time and …
Two children killed in Minnesota field trip landslide
Thu May 23, 2013
tjm: Those are tough words from an armchair quarter back. Hindsight is always 20/20. This park is undeveloped (i.e. no paved paths, visitors center, etc.). There's barely a parking lot for it. It's popular with ice climbers in the winter and hikers/fossil hunters in the summer. Thousands of people g …
Vowing 'not to screw it up,' Yahoo buys Tumblr
Mon May 20, 2013
Yahoo saying they won't "screw it up" smells of Domino's recent adds appologizing for how bad their pizza is. You're not instilling a lot of confidence in your consumer base when that's the best you can offer.
NTSB recommends lowering blood alcohol level that constitutes drunken driving
Tue May 14, 2013
Perhaps instead of spending so much money on enforcement and catching "drunk" drivers after the fact, they could reallocate some of those funds to provide viable alternatives for transportation. Extending public transportation hours, starting shuttle services or affordable "sober ride" programs are …
NYC has 'smart' camera network to thwart terror attacks
Thu Apr 25, 2013
...and people still claim we don't live in a full-blown police state.
CISPA passes House vote, faces Senate and possible veto
Thu Apr 18, 2013
I don't know what everyone is so upset about. If this bill doesn't pass, what is the NSA going to fill up their shiny, new, $2,000,000,000 server farm in Utah with?
Retiring at 40, one peanut butter and jelly sandwich at a time
Wed Apr 10, 2013
That guy already looks 40. I'm guessing his current lifestyle is taking its toll. Hopefully he doesn't keel over at 50 from heart disease. Stress and PBJ's is no way to live. You need to have a balance and not waste your younger years.
